It was clear the moment Elon Musk made an offer to buy Twitter that the radical left would react poorly. They have, and now the ultra-progressives in Big Tech are scrambling to preserve their control over speech, preventing the notions of free speech from entering into the “digital public square.”
This comes from a Tweet posted by billionaire Mark Cuban:
“Every major tech company , Google, fb, et al is on the phone with their anti trust lawyers asking if they can buy Twitter and get it approved. And Twitter is on the phone with their lawyers asking which can be their white knight. Gonna be interesting”

He’s absolutely correct. The threat of someone like Musk coming in and leveling the playing field for conservatives absolutely terrifies Big Tech tyrants. They have the market cornered on what can and cannot be said in the digital public square and they’ll do everything they can to prevent a self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” from ruining their scam.
As I’ve noted previously, I’m not 100% convinced that Musk is on the side of freedom and prosperity in the long run, but the instant enemies he’s been accumulating today may be enough to make me change my mind.
