Wannabe “Joe Rogan of the Left”, Hasan Piker, Asserts He Has No “Patriotism” for U.S. While Live Streaming in China

DCNF(DCNF)—Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker said on Monday that he did not feel patriotic about the United States during a Twitch live stream in China.

Piker also said that it was unfortunate that the Soviet Union lost the Cold War on Nov. 4 at Democratic New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s election party. He was streaming in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square when he made the comment about his lack of pride in America, according to Mediaite.

“I don’t have any sort of patriotism in my heart … for America, but just in general,” Piker said.

When Piker lamented the Soviet Union losing the Cold War on Nov. 4, he also criticized America for supposedly lacking “class consciousness.”

“The conditions have deteriorated so much that everyday Americans, in spite of their lack of class consciousness, are finally arriving at the conclusion that perhaps there is an alternative out there, there is an alternative that focuses on them, as opposed to the interests of the billionaires and millionaires, as opposed to the interests of the capital owners,” he said at the time. “And, I mean, you can’t help but notice that. You can’t help but feel at least a little bit of excitement around that.”

Piker was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, according to a biography.

He also has said “America deserved 9/11.”

Moreover, Piker apparently used a shock collar on his dog during a previous live stream, a move that generated criticism from Vice President J.D. Vance.

The pro-democracy protests at Tiananmen Square resulted in what is believed to have been at least hundreds of people being killed in 1989. China has famously censored accurate data from the massacre from being publicized, including on search engines, so the precise number of deaths is still unknown.
