Now that chances are extraordinarily slim that anything can be done about Joe Biden before Election Day in 2024, it’s safe for corporate media to talk about Hunter Biden. They’ve been talking about him more and more over the past couple of months, including making weak excuses why they didn’t cover the national security risk he represented before and after the 2020 election.
Liberal legal scholar Jonathan Turley took to Twitter to describe intellectually how feeble and disingenuous their excuses really are:

A handful of leftist journalists have acknowledged they simply hated Donald Trump so much they weren’t willing to let Hunter Biden ruin their attempts to get rid of him. At least they’re honest. The vast majority of leftist journalists are not.
