What mainstream media chooses to report used to based on the importance of the story. The same is true for sports media… at least it used to be. Today, they’re just as beholden to the prescribed narrative from the powers-that-be as their general news counterparts.
Gary Sheffield Jr. pointed out a clear-cut example of this on Twitter.

Pandemic Panic Theater trumps pretty much everything else in mainstream media. It seems that sports media is just as controlled by the false narratives being promoted by the powers-that-be.
