The Continuing Resolution, aka the spending bill, that Congress put forth before Christmas is a 1500-page monster crammed with pork and some very unpopular elements. Among the least popular are authorizations for more mask/vaxx-mandates, an authoritarian drone security rehash, and a $70k pay raise for members of Congress.
There was universal disdain toward the bill on social media, including the king of X himself, Elon Musk. The soon-to-be head of DOGE offered a threat to those who vote in favor of the bill…
Any member of the House or Senate who votes for this outrageous spending bill deserves to be voted out in 2 years!

It’s not an empty threat. If anyone can influence a member of Congress’s chances of winning reelection, it’s Elon Musk. Will this make an impact on the vote today?
