Disgraced Former CNN Boss Jeff Zucker Is Followed Out the Door by His Lover

The humiliation of Jeff Zucker and the network he used to run continues as his lover, former VP Allison Gollust, has resigned as well. A company memo from WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar reads:

“Earlier today, Allison Gollust resigned from CNN following the conclusion of the Company’s investigation into issues associated with Chris Cuomo and former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“Performed by a third-party law firm and led by a former federal judge, the investigation was comprehensive and definitive. It was commissioned in September and concluded this weekend, which now allows me to share additional information with you. Based on interviews of more than 40 individuals and a review of over 100,000 texts and emails, the investigation found violations of Company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo.

“I realize this news is troubling, disappointing, and frankly, painful to read. These are valid feelings many of you have.

“We have the highest standards of journalistic integrity at CNN, and those rules must apply to everyone equally. Given the information provided to me in the investigation, I strongly believe we have taken the right actions and the right decisions have been made.

“I am asking in this moment that we all commit to the vital mission we share and the values that define us. CNN, WarnerMedia, and this incredible team deserve that commitment.”

According to Townhall:

Allison Gollust resigned from CNN as the network’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer after an internal investigation found that she violated company policies, according to The New York Times.

The resignation comes after former CNN president Jeff Zucker announced his immediate resignation earlier this month after he failed to disclose his relationship with Gollust during the investigation into former network anchor Chris Cuomo, who was fired in December following revelations that he was more involved in defending his brother, ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), against sexual harassment allegations. During the investigation, Chris Cuomo was also accused of sexual misconduct by a former colleague from his time at ABC News.

This, despite the relationship between the two CNN executives considered to be an “open secret” among CNN employees and media personalities at other networks.

According to The New York Times, CNN said that an internal investigation found “violations of Company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo.”

This is just one of many scandals that has plagued the failing fake news network over the last year. They’ve faced multiple accusations of sex crimes committed by producers and have suffered a catastrophic ratings decline since the election. Attempts to revive their network have centered around the January 6, 2021, mostly peaceful protests, but those efforts have been unsuccessful. It seems the only people interested are those within the Beltway, and that’s not enough to sustain a worldwide news network.

But this memo brings a bigger issue to light at the network. The relationship between Zucker and Gollust was known by many as an “open secret” that has gone on for decades. The only reason the network acted is because Chris Cuomo made it happen after he was fired. What else is the network hiding under its filthy covers?
