Chuck Schumer’s Filibuster Move Is, as He Once Put It, a “Rubber Stamp of Dictatorship”

Democrats have control of the House, Senate, and White House. This makes their utter failure to pass meaningful legislation with less than a year until midterm elections so stunning. To reverse their fortunes, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to get rid of the filibuster, the tool our founding fathers envisioned to prevent slim majorities from having total control over the fate of the nation.

But Schumer wasn’t such a fan of the controversial move a few years ago. A resurfaced video of the Senator defending the filibuster may be the only thing he’s ever said that’s worth repeating. Watch:

At stake is more than just the Democrats’ hopes to get something done while they’re still in power. This is a move that is their only hope for passing voter fraud legislation that will enable massive, widespread cheating at a scale even larger than the theft of the 2020 presidential election. By removing essentially all election safeguards, as minimal is they are today, and federalizing elections against the edicts of the Constitution, Democrats hope to establish permanent rule.

Defeating this move will require all Republican Senators holding the line and at least one Democrat crossing over. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin may hold the fate of the nation in their hands.

This hail mary by Schumer seems to be the only chance Democrats have of retaining power. Their policy failures and the abysmal start to the Biden-Harris regime already have Schumer’s party plotting to subvert the American people.
