(WND)—“This lady makes Kamala look sober. 😳”
That is just one reaction to Democrat candidate Jaime West, whom some online observers believe to be intoxicated during a televised interview as she possibly threatened Republicans.
West is a mother of three grown children and owner of Queen Bees Cleaning LLC, as well as a “gig worker” who delivers groceries.
She is running for Fayette County Council in Connersville, Indiana, which Donald Trump won with 77.5% of the vote in the 2024 presidential race.
She was questioned last week by Amy McCarty, managing editor of the Connersville News-Examiner on LocalTV3, and the interview quickly devolved into anti-MAGA madness.
McCarty asked West, “If elected, what is one decision that you expect to make that may be unpopular with some voters but you believe ultimately would be in the best interest of Fayette County?”
Asking for the question to be reposed, the Democrat finally responded: “Firing all Republicans. I wouldn’t let them, I mean, I don’t even talk to them. I don’t like them.”
“What do you want me to say?” West continued. “I don’t like being around them. I mean, y’all did this to us. You all voted for us. You made this happen, this ICE coming into our communities, stealing people’s jobs.”
“I’ve been threatened so many times to my face by MAGA, we’ll call them, she added.
“Because there’s Republicans who actually get it. You know, there are good Republicans out there, but then there’s these MAGAs who are just racist and aren’t very intelligent at all. They call you names. The sheriff’s nephew threatened to blow my head off, but you know what are you gonna do?”
West is strongly opposed to data centers, but said if they were to be built, “They’d have to pay every resident here at least $10,000 a year.”
When McCarty gave West “an opportunity to say just a few last words to the voters,” West glared into the camera to declare: “We have guns too!”

Former litigator Viva Frei was among those sharing video clips of the bizarre interview, and said: This is WILD. I legit thought it was a skit/high school video project. It is 100% real.”
“I had to make sure she did not have a neurological disorder that could account for the slurred speech and insane rambling. She doesn’t.
“And even if she did have a diagnosed neurological disorder, ‘we have guns too!’ after talking about firing all Republicans would ordinarily be disqualifying.”
“This is NOT a skit,” stressed Libs of TikTok. “Is she intoxicated?”
Mrgunsngear noted: “Jaime West, is now my favorite democrat politician. The longer you watch the better it gets 🍷 I’m pulling for her. She’s welcome on my channel anytime after she starts drinking.”
Others opined:

“The first minute tells you this is going to be a train wreck. By the end, she’s complaining about Republicans and saying they all need to be fired. But the cherry on top? Her parting message to everyone: ‘We have guns too.’”
