With many of the highest profile positions already selected by President Trump in less than 10 days since winning the election, speculation has turned to the important role of White House Press Secretary. Among the names being proposed are CNN analyst Scott Jennings, former news anchor Kari Lake, and Trump attorney Alina Habba.
But Habba isn’t interested.
While I am flattered by the support and speculation, the role of Press Secretary is not a role I am considering. Although I love screaming from a podium I will be better served in other capacities.

While she has the communication skills to fill the role and the ability to litigate Trump’s case to the public, it may not have been a proper fit considering her training. She’s a talented attorney who can be effective both behind the scenes and in the spotlight.
